Timothy Treffinger is a highly skilled attorney with a wealth of experience in both prosecution and defense. Since earning his degree from the University of New Hampshire in 2012, he has lived and practiced law in Nevada.

Throughout his career, Treffinger has worked as a prosecutor for the Storey County District Attorney and the Nevada Attorney General, as well as running his own private practice. In these roles, he has handled a wide range of high-level felony cases, earning a reputation for his sharp legal mind and exceptional courtroom skills.

Treffinger's work as a prosecutor for the Nevada Attorney General was particularly noteworthy. During this time, he specialized in prosecuting special victim crimes, crimes against women, and child abuse cases for three rural Nevada counties. He was also highly active in training law enforcement on how to properly investigate domestic violence and sex crimes, working closely with officers through monthly trainings and assisting with academy training in Storey County.

Today, Treffinger is running for the position of Attorney General in Nevada as a Republican candidate. If elected, he plans to prioritize investigating crimes committed by both political parties and promoting transparency and public trust in the justice system. In 2022, he was the unchallenged candidate for district attorney in Clark County.
